As of 2nd July we have concentrated our intermodal connections to and from Busto within the Samskip Multimodal Rail Terminal in Duisburg-Hohenbudberg.
“We have added this connection as a reaction to the ever greater demand for a link from Duisburg, due to the increasing commodity flow from the region,” explains Christoph Schwarz, Director Intermodal Europe at TXL. “We are responding to this development by adding Duisburg to our intermodal network.”
Christoph Schwarz (30) will be the new Director Intermodal Europe at TX as of 16th June 2018.
In this function he will also be responsible at TX for the further development of the European seaport hinterland traffic. Christoph Schwarz succeeds Jörg Nowaczyk, who will leave the company on 30th June 2018.
