Due to its economic importance, the Brenner Corridor is often referred to as the “heart vein of Europe”. A strong image that can also be applied to our network.

With grown relations, we regularly connect five locations in Germany as well as Padborg in Denmark with northern Italy on the Brenner axis. And once again we are raising the pulse rate: on the Leipzig – Verona connection, we are expanding the weekly frequency from four to five round trips as of 10 May. As a stopover, Hall in Tirol will then also be served five times a week in each direction. In June, we will also strengthen the Padborg – Verona connection with a seventh round trip. Including the announced extensions, we will then run 41 round trips corresponding to 82 trains per week on the north-south axis via Brenner, making us one of the leading providers. Making the heart of Europe beat faster.
